Hyatt's New Tool
HYATT'S ONLINE GROUP BOOKING ENGINE got an upgrade this summer, one significant enough to give it a new name, changing from “E-mmediate Meetings” to “E-mmediate Response,” and a new home at www.e-mmediateresponse.com.
While both systems allow planners to look for space, dates, and rates in real time, the old system could only handle booking requests of up to 100 rooms for groups meeting from seven days to six months out. And it could not handle catering-only meetings.
In the 2005 version, there are no size or date limitations, and meetings with or without rooms can use the system. Planners can also request availability and rates from multiple hotels, and can process alternate dates.
E-mmediate Response was first launched back in 2003 at StarCite, the meetings and events dot-com.
