FCC Advisory: Venues Can’t Block Wi-Fi

A recent petition filed by Marriott International, the American Hotel & Lodging Association, and Ryman Hospitality Partners asked the Federal Communications Commission to spell out what venues can do to protect their Wi-Fi networks from “imposter” hotspots and other potential malicious attacks, including whether they can block third-party Wi-Fi signals as part of this effort.
