Spectra took home the Crystal Award for a 1,400-person event in Scotland. The program involved 10 chartered aircraft, 250 coach movements, and happenings at many gorgeous settings throughout the country, from Edinburgh Festival to Royal Yacht Britannia to Thirlestane Castle (above). Video here.
Cementos Moctezuma, one of Mexico’s largest cement and concrete producers, worked with Travelieer DMC to take 270 of its leading distributors on a 15-night incentive program to Siem Reap, Cambodia (including dinner inside Angkor Wat temple complex); Hanoi, Vietnam (including a one-night cruise among the limestone islands of Halong Bay); and Bangkok and Chiang Mai, Thailand. Travelieer also earned a Crystal Award for its work on an incentive program for Immunotec, a Canadian direct-selling company, that brought 1,050 winners to Bogotá, Colombia, in back-to-back programs. Odyssey International DMC won a Crystal Award for its management of the largest corporate incentive group ever to come to Ireland in one movement: a Dublin-based event with 2,620 guests. The incentive program for a U.S.-based insurance company included an evening takeover of 3Arena and an Irish festival experience on the grounds of Ardgillan Castle (above). Video here.
Arabian Adventures MIE earned a Crystal Award for a Dubai incentive program that treated 270 top winners from the U.S. to a five-day experience that included a night of traditional music and dance in the dunes at the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve and a gala dinner at the foot of the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. A leading insurance company worked with Mfactor Meetings to take 35 partners and their guests on a seven-night cruise down the Danube on the Crystal Ravel, visiting Vienna, Budapest, Dürnstein, and Krems. Highlights included a final-night black-tie event at Belvedere Palace in Vienna. Video here.
Creative Group’s Crystal Award-winning incentive travel program for Alliance Laundry Systems’s Huebsch division was promoted with a 14-month communications campaign to keep potential qualifiers motivated and engaged leading up to a once-in-a-lifetime “Living Legends” trip to Machu Picchu in Peru. For the Pure Storage Pure Performer’s Club incentive program on Kauai, Hawaii, Streamlinevents and its DMC partner MC&A Hawaii coordinated with Habitat for Humanity, Boys and Girls Club of Hawaii, and the local county government to run a CSR event that involved 170 attendees. The incentive winners worked together to expand the island’s Boys and Girls Club facility from 1,800 square feet to over 3,600 square feet. View video.
