Lisa Niemi Swayze showed some of her dance moves on her way to the lectern to deliver FICP’s closing keynote address. She and her husband of 34 years, Patrick Swayze, met at his mom’s dance studio when she was in her teens. In an emotional and ultimately inspiring talk, Niemi Swayze shared the story of going through her husband’s battle with pancreatic cancer.
