This year Emerge attendees had their choice of two service projects: Helping out at the Christian Service Mission, a community development organization that seeks to build healthier communities through partnerships with like-minded organizations; and at Jessie’s Place, a shelter for women and children that serves up to 30 women and children at any given time.
Emerge attendees enjoyed a performance by the Blind Boys of Alabama.
RCMA’s attendees heard music old and new from the University of Alabama at Birmingham Gospel Choir.
