Situated on prime beachfront in the heart of Cancun’s hotel zone, the 450-room CasaMagna Marriott boasts spectacular views of the turquoise Caribbean sea and more than 11,000 square feet of meeting space. A $12 million renovation, which has already refreshed 160 guest rooms and 22 suites with a chic modern style and updated bathrooms, will be completed in October.
The Marriott Cancun Collection offers planners several all-inclusive packages, including a “hybrid all-inclusive” option that allows flexibility to add or remove on-site activities on the fly, with no financial penalties. For example, you can cancel one on-property dinner and have the cost refunded to the final bill. Shown here: A gourmet food, wine, and sweet treat welcome amenity at the CasaMagna.
Interior architecture at the Casa Magna Marriott reflects a global design hand, from the traditional Mexican look of the lobby (pictured) to the thatched roofs and glowing lanterns of Sasi Thai, one of five international-themed restaurants on property.

The pampering continues at the resort’s 35,000-square-foot spa, which has an indoor lap pool and spacious fitness center with newly updated cardio equipment. The JW has more than 23,000 square feet of flexible meeting space including a 14,400-square-foot ballroom and nine meeting rooms.
A network of meandering infinity pools at the JW Marriott Cancun offers spectacular oceanfront vistas. Other outdoor pools are tucked away from the beaten path, including an adults-only area that is popular for group events, says Director of Sales and Marketing Rocio Juarez.
The vivid colors of Mexico animate outdoor craft markets, including this one on Isla Mujeres—a fun island destination for group excursions located about 40 minutes from Cancun via public ferry or chartered catamarans.
Fresh, farm-to-fork restaurants such as Mango Café on Isla Mujeres serve up delicious local fare. Seen here: fish tacos with mango salsa.
Not-to-be-missed daytrip: Tulum, the 13th-century Mayan city on the sea, is a spectacular cliffside archaeological site about a two-hour drive from Cancun. Other attractions in the area include many beautiful cenotes—natural caves filled with clear, fresh water in jungle settings—and there are many group dining options.
