The International Congress and Convention Association launched the ICCA Association Portal—a one-stop meeting planning resource for association meeting professionals who plan international events. The site provides password-protected access to data and specialized resources culled from the ICCA membership, which includes 989 member organizations in 91 countries. Those organizations include tourist boards, convention and visitor bureaus, congress centers, professional congress organizers, and others.

ICCA maintains a large database of international association meetings, accessible only to its members, but qualifying association meeting professionals can now view their own meeting profile in the ICCA database and share insights with other association colleagues. Association meeting professionals can also search for ICCA members, meetings publications, case studies, hosted-buyer event information; and request advice on how to improve their bid manuals.

The ICCA Board will be presenting the new product in more depth to members at the upcoming IMEX Frankfurt show, where they hold mid-year sector meetings in May.
