Another tale from the land of bad customer service

I know this isn't directly related to meetings, but boy did it make me laugh: Dear Apple, have you lost your cotton pickin’ mind?[Link removed because blog developed a virus. Trust me, it's a great post -- I'll replace it once it's cured].

The upshot, I guess, is to make sure you don't hire any coconuts, or pineapples, or something like that (you have to read the post). Don't even let them volunteer to help out with manning an information table -- it's easy to forget that the people who have the most contact with your clients/customers/attendees are often the least paid, least trained, and least screened. Here's one compelling case of why that should not be the case.
