A must-read manifesto

When it comes to meetings and trade shows, the prevailing wisdom has been that bigger is better—just a few more attendees, booths, sessions, just a few more everything and you’ll be an even bigger success next time around. Now that all the "mores" are becoming "lesses" these days for so many show organizers, the tune is changing to "quality, not quantity" as the key to success.

For those who subscribe to that view—even more so for those who don’t--this manifesto on doing less to get more by Seth Godin is a great reality check on how a business should be run. It's short, it's pithy, and it'll help you get the job done without killing yourself in the process.
