More about Anne Taylor-Vaisey MLS …
Anne developed an ongoing interest in continuing health education during her nine years with the Office of Continuing Education, University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine. In 2000 she joined Integrated Healthcare Communications Inc. as an information specialist, then in 2001 returned to the academic world as Reference Librarian for the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Since 2000 Anne has been Web Editor for the Society for Academic Continuing Medical Education (SACME). She also moderates two listservs: CE_Current_Awareness, for continuing health education researchers and providers; and CE_Chiro, for complementary and alternative medicine practitioners and researchers (particularly chiropractors). Anne recently started a blog for the members of these groups, Anne T-V's Blog
Anne is devoted to her students, much to the amusement of her CMCC colleague, Steve, who says: Anne's relentless enthusiasm and soul-crushing commitment to education makes learning almost an inevitability, sort of like death, but not quite so unpleasant. Best approached behind lead shielding in case you end up learning something whether you want to or not. Four stars....... but not for those who think ignorance is bliss.
