Ritz-Carlton Brings Luxury Reserve Brand to Puerto Rico

What a spot for a massage: one of the resort's tree massage platforms

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co. opened its second Reserve brand property in December on Puerto Rico’s north coast, 15 miles west of San Juan. The ultra-luxury Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, was built on the footprint of the former Laurence Rockefeller estate and all 100 guest rooms and 14 suites sit directly on the beach. Accommodations include a restored, four-bedroom Spanish hacienda, with a private pool. In addition to three golf courses, nature trail, and beach, the resort offers an extraordinary spa in a five-acre sanctuary with two tree-house massage platforms.
