Lifestyle incentives show employees you care about what matters to them and create a connection with the company — something many employees have lost.
Here are a few ideas:
Devote an afternoon to wellness. Treat staff to a healthful lunch, followed by a massage, facial, yoga class, or hike.
Plan outdoor activities that let the families of your employees interact. Think beyond picnics and consider a hike, a beach party, or a carnival.
Allow everyone to donate company time to a charity. Choose one that's close to your heart, or let the staff vote.
Start a reading group. This is a great way to create a bond between different departments.
Hold a class at the office once a week (yoga, Spanish, cooking).
Have one department make the other lunch one day, then vice versa.
