Irving

Irving's proximity to both Dallas and Fort Worth, its location adjacent to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, and its 70-plus hotel properties, ranging from resort to economy, make it ideal for corporate groups. The city's centerpiece is the 12,000-acre, master-planned development of Las Colinas Urban Center. Home to hundreds of corporations, Las Colinas also houses a PGA golf course; the European-styled Mandalay Canal; Movie Studios at Las Colinas, a motion picture production complex; Las Colinas Equestrian Center and Polo Club; a world-class waterski course; and the Mustangs of Las Colinas, the world's largest equestrian sculpture. There are more than 400 restaurants in Irving. Plans are under way for Irving to add a 350,000-square-foot convention center by 2004.
