If you're looking for something different to wow your audience, meet Atom, the self-proclaimed World's Fastest Painter.
This street artist — aka Adam Geld — was a hit at the recent Society of Incentive & Travel Executives event in Orlando. Using spray paint and acrylics, Atom creates landscapes, moonscapes, and abstract works in three to four minutes and hands out the finished pieces to attendees.
Geld gave up the small business life in a Santa Monica, Calif., ticket broker agency and a surf shop to pursue the street artist's life. "I apprenticed in Mexico and went to Japan to practice," he says. After that, he realized he could pay the bills by working special events. He sent letters to as many planners as he could, and has been painting ever since.
