A new online subscription rating service for the meeting and convention industry is promising planners a place to rant, rate, and rave.
At LoudTalk.com, launched in May, meeting customers who want to “leave a rating” click through an easy-to-navigate series of pages where, once they are identified as an attendee, a planner, or an exhibitor/sponsor, they're invited to rate various aspects of their meeting experience: destination, hotel, meeting and convention venues, restaurants, rental cars, air service, and more.
Eventually, users will be able to find collective peer ratings in these categories, but at this point, the site's “find a rating” service is not operating, awaiting a critical mass of feedback before publishing the results.
