The Hotel Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg has obtained its fifth star, based on the new French hotel classification. To earn its fifth star, the Hotel Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg met a new set of specifications, with more than 200 conditions to fulfill in areas including reception, facilities, and service. Hotel Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg, located near the Champs Élysées, Madeleine Church, and exclusive Faubourg Saint-Honoré, underwent an extensive refurbishment in 2010. Included in the project were 21 redesigned suites as well as a 1,075-square-foot “Couture” apartment by famed designer Didier Gomez, celebrating the hotel’s history and fashionable address.
The Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg is the eighth Sofitel property to earn its fifth star in France after Sofitel Paris La Défense, Sofitel Lyon Bellecour, Sofitel Marseille Vieux-Port, Sofitel Biarritz Le Miramar Thalassa, Sofitel Porticcio Thalassa, Hotel Scribe Paris and Sofitel Dijon La Cloche.
