Time Out With Kathy Kozminske

1. If you could be anywhere in the world, where would you be?
The Fiji Islands. This is the place of my dreams, the ideal paradise (all expenses paid of course!)

2. What’s playing on your iPod?
A mix of old and new, from The Rat Pack to Usher. While working, I prefer to listen to hip hop and when I need some “Kathy” time I like to listen to classical music.

3. It’s time for a second career. What do you choose?
I would want to start my own designer eyeglass line: one-of-a-kind eyewear, brilliant colors, and all different lens shapes. Look for me in the future at www.SEEkathleenskollection.com

4. What is your favorite cause or charity?
My favorite causes are the Special Olympics and Down Syndrome, which holds a very near and dear place in my heart. I have a nephew with Down Syndrome who has just celebrated his 30th birthday, and he brings such joy to our family.

5. What is your top travel tip?
Always dress for success on the airplane. You never know when your flight is going to be delayed or canceled. You want to always be prepared for that next appointment.

6. What is always in your refrigerator?
I always have some bubbly. You never know when you are going to have something to celebrate.

7. What's the best book you've read recently?
Do Not Disturb, “strategically” written by hotelier Laurence Gellar. There is more to this author than meets the eye—and he has another book on the way.

8. What is your favorite quote or saying?
“BUY FICP + ME.” This is my mantra. If I keep saying this phrase the signed contracts will come!

9. Who inspires you?
There is only one person and that is my beloved mother. She always said whatever you put into life you will get out of it. All of my work ethic comes from her, along with a great sense of family life. She would constantly instill in us the lesson to always treat people the way they would like to be treated. I love and miss her dearly. She is my idol.
