I have to confess, I don’t have an iPod.

3. If you could be a superhero, what superpower would you want?
The ability to read people’s intentions

4. It’s time for a second career, what do you choose?
No question about it: I would love to run a flower/gift shop
or tea room near an assisted-living facility.

5. When your life story is made into a movie, whom should they cast as you?
Meryl Streep has had a long-term career based on her hard work
as much as her talent. I would like to think the same is true of me.

6. What’s the best book you’ve read in the past year?
Journey for Revenge—an action drama that chronicles 9/11
survivors’ quest for justice—written by my husband, Tom Renk

7. What’s your hidden talent?
Though I can’t remember phone numbers, I am able to retain key facts
in my head about literally dozens of projects and issues. It makes it appear that I spend hours and hours preparing for every meeting I attend!

8. Who inspires you?
Truly, the volunteers I work with who lead our industry associations

9. If you could trade places with anyone (living or from history) for a week, whom would you choose?
Hillary Clinton

10. How do you strike a balance between work and your personal life?
For me, technology has eased this challenge. Access to e-mail from
anywhere has actually made it easier for me not to miss opportunities to be with my family and friends.

11. What is your greatest strength?
The desire to learn about all perspectives around a challenge
