You can even re-name the street signs.
Don’t just book the resort—rent the whole village for your next corporate event. That’s what more than 100 groups have done since Xnet Event Marketing, a Liechtenstein-based company, created its Rent A Village program in 1996.
Using picturesque Alpine villages in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland (as well as the entire 62-square-mile country of Liechtenstein), Xnet creates unique meeting experiences, allowing companies to drape logos across city squares, rename street signs in honor of new products or top producers, issue customized currency, and take home a key to the city.
For $50,000 to $70,000 a night, groups from 40 to 1,000 or more can stay in village accommodations—from bed-and-breakfast inns to four-star hotels—and customize a village experience to include anything from toboggan races, to a Tyrolean fair, to a mountain hike. Clients have included Hyundai, which brought 1,000 car dealers to Trittenheim, Germany; Regent Lighting, a Swiss company that marked its centennial with 600 employees in Engelberg, Switzerland; and SAP Switzerland, which celebrated a successful year with 220 partners in Brand, Austria. While the company has worked with European branches of U.S. companies, no U.S. groups have yet had the Rent A Village experience. You could be the first.
