SOX spurs meetings

The Sarbanes-Oxley act is keeping meeting planners busy. According to a recent survey by Mellon Financial, board meetings are growing longer (1.5 or two days), audit committees are meeting twice as many times as they did two years ago, and compensation committees are meeting 20 percent more than in the previous year.
