The 910-room Hyatt Regency St. Louis Riverfront at the Gateway Arch held its grand reopening July 1 after undergoing a $63 million renovation.
The hotel, owned by The Chartres Lodging Group, LLC, is located downtown near the Gateway Arch and the St. Louis riverfront . The hotel features three full-service restaurants, a health club, and 83,000 square feet of meeting space that includes a terrace with views of the arch.
“We are thrilled to have received such strong community support, and are pleased we have been able to give back to the community with the creation of 100 new jobs,” said the hotel’s managing director, Greg Saunders.
The renovation has had a major impact on the local economy as well as St. Louis’ hospitality package, said Brian Hall, St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission's chief marketing officer.
