La Recoleta Cemetery in Buenos Aires is the resting place of Eva Peron and others—including this lady’s beloved dog. Situated in one of the city’s most fashionable neighborhoods, it is a highlight of city tours.

The entire La Recoleta cemetery is laid out in sections like city blocks, with wide tree-lined main walkways branching into sidewalks filled with mausoleums.
