The Austin (Texas) Convention and Visitors Bureau has joined the International Congress and Convention Association, one of only 10 U.S. destination marketing organizations to be part of this global community of meeting professionals.
“The Austin CVB is leveraging our ICCA membership to gain a better understanding of, and grow our presence in, the international meetings market,” said Roy Benear, senior vice president of the Austin CVB, in a press release. “ICCA’s reputation and strong connections with planners across the globe will be key assets to us as we work to secure international meetings.”
With a network of 7,600 meeting professionals in 85 countries, ICCA provides a global networking platform that connects association and corporate executives with destination management professionals—from venue operators, to hotels, to transportation companies, and all other segments of the meetings industry.
