Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles Completes Technology Upgrade

The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles is boasting a re-engineered 16,338-square-foot International Ballroom, with more than $5 million invested in technology in the ballroom ceiling alone. AVT Event Technologies has designed a high-definition projection upgrade, featuring the newest Christie 14K HD Roadsters, capable of 3-D projection. The new ultra-wide projection screen—14 feet by 40 feet—is at the back of the built-in stage. A permanent rig grid over the stage saves time on installation for productions. The ballroom lighting grid holds 350 individual lighting fixtures, a mix of intelligent lighting, LED lighting, and studio lighting. The ballroom also features a green room behind the stage.

The hotel maintains full-service catering, production, and technology teams, and offers 22 different meeting and event space configurations. Its Executive Meeting Center, offering 11 breakouts rooms, also features new high-lumen projectors. The space is ideal for groups of up to 100.

The Beverly Hilton has a total of more than 60,000 square feet of indoor and open-air event space, all on the lobby level, on its expansive, 9-acre property. It has hosted the Golden Globes Awards Show for more than 35 years.
