PCMA SETTLES HARASSMENT SUIT

"It is behind us now." With that statement, Professional Convention Management Association Chairman Rick Grimes closed what he called a "hurtful" chapter in PCMA's book. The Birmingham, Ala.-based organization has agreed to pay a settlement in the sexual harassment lawsuit filed by a former employee a year ago. Because a nondisclosure statement is part of the settlement agreement, PCMA will not reveal any details.
