American Airlines has launched a Web site for female travelers in hopes that it can boost its revenue by catering to what women really want (at least in an airline experience). According to
CNN, it could pay off: Just a 2 percent increase in female travelers would result in $94 million more in revenue per year. They're already doing some things women (and men, for that matter) might like, such as lowering the height of storage bins in the 767-300 business class.
The airline offers safety and security tips, and asks for suggestions from its female passengers on the site, the article says. Feel free to head on over and give them an earful. I'm going there now.
