Those of us who had to miss this year's PCMA Convening Leaders conference still have a chance to check out some of the sessions when the association rebroadcasts pieces of the conference Wednesday, January 30th from 8:00 am to 4:15 pm CT. I got to check out one session on gamification in real time, and it was excellent (here's my writeup). On the agenda for tomorrow:
• 12-1 pm CT Thomas Friedman
• 1:15pm-2:45pm CT Masters Series: When “Free” is No Longer An Option: Navigating New Pricing Realities at Convention Centers
• 3:00 pm-4:05pm CT Masters Series: Digital Disruption’s Impact on Conventions and Trade Shows
If you already signed up to be a virtual attendee, you can just sign in here. Newbies can sign up on the same URL (look for the "not yet registered" button on the lower left side of the page). If the speaker has them, you can download the handouts here. If you want more, you can get access to all the captured sessions through the end of the year for $199.
I'll be on the road all day tomorrow, heading to beautiful San Francisco for the Alliance for Continuing Education in the Health Profession's annual meeting, so I'll have to miss it, but if you can make it, I'm pretty sure you'll get plenty of good info. I still maintain that PCMA has the best educational sessions of the industry meetings I've been to, though MPI is catching up.
