Hotels Pile On The Fees: New, Increased Meetings Surcharges To Reach Historic Heights. You have to love Bjorn Hanson of PricewaterhouseCoopers, who loves to dig into hotels on this topic. Like this quote: "Master folio billing fees, according to Hanson, could be interpreted as a 'bill for a bill.'"
He also says this will be a record year for hotel fees and surcharges. What is the world coming to?
Just get it all in the contract, including a clause saying that no additional fees beyond those already agreed to in the contract will be imposed without your express permission, or words to that effect.
