I love that Meeting Professionals International has rethought its session tracks along the lines of learning preferences for its upcoming annual conference. So instead of marking sessions just by topic and/or experience level, MPI is splitting them up into lecture-based (the usual listen and learn), interactive (expert led, hands-on, interactive model), and peer-to-peer (facilitated conversations and sharing among participants). They're also offering inside- and outside-industry topics, with those coming from outside the event world showing how what they do is relevant and useful to meeting and event professionals.
Now I really hope I get to go the the World Education Congress in Las Vegas this summer.
