I just heard that the Harvard School of Public Health is looking for a Deputy Director for its Center for Continuing Professional Education. Here's the job description:
Reporting to the Associate Dean and Executive Director of the Center, the Deputy Director is responsible for day-to-day operations of the Center's three divisions - programming, marketing, and finance - with a special emphasis on new program and product development. Collaborates with the Center's Executive Director, Director of Marketing and Enrollment, and Associate Directors on long-range and strategic planning. Takes the lead in managing a select number of highly visible programs for senior professionals, primarily in the health policy and management arena. Contributes to securing external funding. Should be an entrepreneurial self-starter that collaborates with faculty on program design, meets accreditation standards, and works with Center's staff to ensure the successful implementation of new program initiatives.
