What guests think it's OK to filch from a hotel

Just as I finished marveling (and not in a good way) about the dollar amount hotels are getting in fees these days, I read this post on Elliott.org on what hotel guests feel is and is not OK to abscond with upon their departure.

I'd be curious to know the dollar amount all those shower caps, robes, and even flat-screen TVs(!) cost the hotel industry. Just to balance out the fee thing.
