* Royal Caribbean International has sealed its merger deal with Celebrity Cruises. The $1.3 billion transaction is the largest in cruise-line history. The new company has a combined fleet of 17 ships that sail itineraries in Alaska, the Bahamas, Bermuda, the Caribbean, Canada, Europe, the Far East, Hawaii, Mexico, New England, the Panama Canal, Russia, and Scandinavia. The two brands will be operated separately.
