When Hurricane Pauline hit Acapulco last fall, Marty Williams went into action. Williams, vice president of sales, Mexico, for Princess Hotels International, said he needed to act fast to ease the fears of groups that had booked the Acapulco Princess following the tragic storm. So he invited meeting planners to fly down, check out the resort, and cancel if they were dissatisfied with the property's condition. Half a dozen planners did--and none of them canceled.
