The first St. Regis hotel in Canada debuted on November 28. The St. Regis Toronto has 134 guest rooms and 124 suites and is located in a mixed-use skyscraper in downtown Toronto close to Union Station and CN Tower. Formerly the Trump Hotel Toronto, the renovated property features modern and elegant décor and a new restaurant on the 31st floor, Louix Louis, which has an interior designed to evoke a crystal whiskey glass and a private dining room. Guests can take advantage of the St. Regis butler service with five butlers available for packing, garment care, and food service. Guest room size starts at 550 square feet which is the largest in the city.
The property has a total of 12,000 square feet of meeting space including two ballrooms. The St. Regis Ballroom has 14-foot ceilings, is 3,744 square feet and has a 1,704-square-foot foyer. It is connected to the 4,640-square-foot Astor Ballroom and foyer via a staircase between the ninth and tenth floors. Other meeting rooms are located on the 30th floor with views of downtown, and on the lobby level is the Astor Lounge, a café and live music venue with a daily champagne event.
Other amenities include an indoor infinity-edge swimming pool and a two-story full-service spa.
The hotel is 16 miles from Toronto Pearson International Airport.
