Virgin Hotels will debut in San Francisco in February. This is the chain’s second property; the first opened in Chicago in 2015. Located in the SoMa (South of Market) neighborhood, Virgin Hotels San Francisco is steps from the expanded Moscone Convention Center and adjacent to the Yerba Buena Gardens.
The hotel’s 192 guest rooms are divided into sleeping chambers and dressing rooms by a sliding door and feature Smeg mini-fridges and free snacks. There are two penthouse suites. Pet-friendly rooms have dog beds and food and water bowls and a free Virgin bandana for your four-legged friend.
The Manor meeting room is 2,124 square feet and can seat up to 208 guests, or smaller groups in up to 8 different private configurations. The San Francisco Virgin Commons Club is overseen by Chef Adrian Garcia and showcases local California ingredients and the Rooftop Bar serves food and cocktails with a breathtaking view of downtown. There is an onsite, 24-hour gym featuring internet-connected Technogym machines and free Wi-Fi.
