Reed Travel Exhibitions is partnering with RecertTrack to provide attendees at its IBTM portfolio of events with a subscription discount on RecertTrack’s education tracking service.
RecertTrack, based in Silver Spring, Md., offers an online certification renewal service for the meetings industry called the Association & Meetings Professionals’ Advancement Portal. The allows meeting professionals to track their education courses and credits in one place online, and see how far along they are on the path to recertification. Subscribers are also prompted with reminders when they need to recertify.
“We will be launching this value-added service for EIBTM in Barcelona this year [November 19–21], but all of the IBTM portfolio of attendees will be able to receive a special subscription rate once they have uploaded their details and have registered to attend one of our shows,” says Mandy Torrens, marketing manager for RTE’s IBTM portfolio, which includes AIBTM: Americas Incentive, Business Travel, and Meetings Exhibition (June 10–12 in Orlando) and a number of other meetings industry events around the world.
“One of the major advantages to subscribing to the RecertTrack portal is that IBTM’s Education Team will automatically upload attendees’ education activities directly into their profile, so all there is left to do is assign the activities to the certification you are tracking. It is a very simple process to achieve maximum efficiency in tracking education activities,” adds Torrens.
RTE offers IBTM attendees a 30 percent discount off the annual subscription rate of $19.99.
