ACTIVE Network Launches RegOnline Update

ACTIVE Network Launches RegOnline Update

At Meeting Professionals International’s World Education Congress 2013 in Las Vegas, meeting technology solution provider ACTIVE Network announced the launch of an updated version of RegOnline, its entry-level online event-management product. The new version, designed for small- to mid-sized businesses and associations and events of up to 20,000 attendees, offers an easy-to-use, infographic-based dashboard where planners can scan all their key metrics in one place. It also incorporates a more intuitive navigation structure, a quick way to search ACTIVE’s global supplier network of hotels and venues, and an electronic-RFP wizard, all of which can be accessed in real-time through an included mobile app.

While the new event-management system is designed for ease of use, the company also offers free specialist support for those who need help using RegOnline while planning, promoting, and managing their meetings. Planners can site-search, send e-RFPs, manage payments and registrations, and perform all the main meeting management functions through the system, but those who prefer to use their own Word or Excel documents can upload them for use in RegOnline as well.

“The new RegOnline is designed to be the central place meeting professionals in small and mid-sized organizations can go to for information-gathering, advice, and managing all aspects of their meetings,” says Anthony Miller, vice president of ACTIVE Network’s Business Solutions Group. “We surveyed planners to find out what they really need, and designed the new RegOnline product based on what they told us,” he adds. “Many said they were still using multiple Word and Excel documents and re-inputting information manually, which in addition to being time-consuming can introduce errors. RegOnline makes it easy for them to keep all their information in an easy-to-access and easy-to-update dashboard, and they can generate reports [for] leadership and other stakeholders.”

The updated RegOnline is currently in beta; it will be officially launched in August. Check out this video for a brief overview:
