After 34 years as Boston's leading convention sales professional, Paul Lanigan, senior convention sales manager at The Greater Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau, retired at the end of March. Lanigan leaves having solicited and booked a record number of conventions during his career, amounting to more than five million room nights and $1.4 million in spending for the city of Boston.
