Cvent has introduced the Promotions Hub, a new online service listing special offers on hotels and venues for meeting planners.
From discounts on the master account and free site visits to complimentary receptions and iPad giveaways, the site lists a variety of promotions, searchable by destination, date, and other criteria. The Promotions Hub is part of the Cvent Supplier Network, a database of over 200,000 hotels and event venues worldwide, which Cvent says is actively used by 30,000 meeting planners.
“Consumers these days are used to searching online for special deals and last-minute discounts, so it made perfect sense to create a similar place for the meetings and events industry,” said Bharet Malhotra, senior vice president of sales for the Cvent Supplier Network. “We’ve made it easier for planners looking for deals—and venues with deals to offer—to find each other."
