At approximately 12:30 p.m. Indonesia time today, there was an explosion at the JW Marriott hotel in Jakarta. According to information from Marriott, local authorities say 10 people were killed, including a security guard. Three guests and eight hotel employees were among the 147 people taken to local hospitals as a result of the explosion, which occurred near the hotel's entrance.
