Vail Boardroom Named After Housekeeper

It's not unusual for hotels and organizations to name boardrooms after past presidents, famous Americans, or top company executives. The Antlers at Vail Resort, Vail, Colo., is a refreshing exception. It's just that the executive they named it after, Emiliana “Millie” Barela, is the executive housekeeper. Dedicating the spectacular new $20 million addition to Barela is the most exciting aspect of the project, says Rob LeVine, general manager at The Antlers. “Millie has long been recognized as
