Richard Ross, The Ross Group

All of us in the incentive industry were shocked to hear that Richard Ross, 58, CEO of The Ross Group management and consulting firm in Boston, was a passenger on ill-fated American Airlines Flight 11. I recall Richard as a friendly and kind man, always willing to participate in roundtables or seminars we held — and he would apologize if he couldn't! He was well-known in SITE and served as president from 1983 to 1985. He leaves behind his wife, Judi, and their three adult children.
