After nine years as president of Krisam Group, the Washington, D.C.–based hotel sales organization, Jim Schultenover has moved into a similar role at Associated Luxury Hotels International.
ALHI’s current president and CEO, David Gabri, remains CEO, focused on growing the Orlando-based organization, while Schultenover will take over the job of president starting October 15, in charge of day-to-day operations. The company represents more than 160 hotels and resorts worldwide.
At Krisam Group, Catherine Chaulet has been promoted to president. Chaulet joined the Krisam organization in late August as president of GEP Destination Management, a collection of nine destination management companies owned by Global Events Partners. Global Events Partners is a sister company to Krisam Group, which represents more than 250 hotels and resorts, and Chris White serves as chairman and CEO of both.
Before joining GEP, Chaulet was senior vice president of Best of Boston, a Boston DMC, and BostonCoach, an executive transportation company. With the departure of Schultenover, Chaulet has risen to president of both Krisam Group and Global Events Partners.
Chaulet will work closely with a seven-year veteran of the organization, Stacy Tischler, who was promoted to COO in August from her role as senior vice president of operations for Krisam and GEP.
