Air traffic to and from the U.S. totaled 126.2 million passengers through August 2013, a four percent increase over the August 2012 year-to-date period, according to the International Air Transport Association.
U.S. airlines carried 68 million passengers, up three percent, with their share at 54 percent. Foreign flags carried just over 58 million passengers, up five percent from same period 2012.
