As part of a consolidation of its sales, marketing, and medical services areas, Healthcare services provider UDG Healthcare PLC has combined eight services areas—including meetings and events—into its Ashfield division. As part of the transition, international pharmaceutical event management specialists Universal WorldwideEvents is being rebranded as Ashfield Meetings and Events. The move is designed to streamline back-office processes and enable the company to provide enhanced and complimentary services, such as healthcare communications.
“We have been working in partnership with the Ashfield group of companies for quite some time now and established an excellent team spirit. This is a natural progression for our brand, our staff, and our clients,” Global CEO Nicola Burns said. The firm also intends to launch a secondary brand this year that will offer creative, production, digital, and communication services
