AT A GLANCE: In October 2014, Aimia revamped its organization in the U.S., creating two distinct business units, Channel and Employee Loyalty and Customer Loyalty. Kurt Paben, current president of the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence Foundation Board of Trustees, was promoted from senior vice president to serve as president of the Channel and Employee Loyalty unit, which delivers meetings, conferences, incentives, and events. Both business units moved their offices to downtown Minneapolis this spring. Sixty percent of Aimia’s incentive programs were held outside the U.S. last year, including a Toyota dealer incentive that earned a SITE 2014 Crystal Award. The winning program was noted for its participation rates, program execution (300 dealers had their choice of five "once-in-a-lifetime" trips), creativity, and participant satisfaction.
