Wicked Wilma, which last I checked was still a category 4 hurricane, is bearing down on Cozumel and Cancun. I can't help but wonder how many resources Mexico has at the moment, after hurricane Stan's recent devastation to the south. It's unclear at the moment whether Wilma will be hitting Florida this weekend or beyond. I don't know if there are any meeting or incentive groups in the area being hit now, but my thoughts and prayers are with everyone in harm's way. The one and only time I've been to Cancun was a year after a hurricane much weaker than Wilma had struck, and the hotel next to the one I was staying in was still in ruins. This is awful.
