I just heard about a Web site called SelfEmployedWoman.com that sounds like it could be a great resource for the female independents and other women small business owners in our midst. I haven't had a chance to do more than kick the tires on this one, but according to the press release:
- It helps to share ideas with other women and ask for help and support when the challenges of business and personal life come up. You won't find recipe-swapping or ideas for fixing your relationship on this site. We're all about getting down to business: how to find time to do all you want to do and how to make your dreams a reality.
Before I came to work for this fine company, I was a contractor for many, many years. Something like this would have been invaluable--if it's all the press release cracks it up to be.
