- This is another reminder of the one-day meetings of the Alliance Medical Specialty Societies Provider Section. Participants can choose to attend in the Baltimore/Washington DC area on Wednesday, August 17th or in the Chicago area on Friday, August 19th.
This meeting has been designed expressly for CME providers at all levels in specialty societies. The morning session will focus on how specialty societies are implementing change to the Standards for Commercial Support. In the afternoon, representatives from the AMA and ACCME will address participants. This will be followed by breakout sessions on best practices, and nuts and bolts issues. Again, this year, a modest registration fee of $50.00 will be charged to cover expenses such as lunch and refreshment breaks.
