Flight delays: Which airports have the worst?

If you have a lot of attendees flying in from Newark, N.J., Chicago, Boston, New York's LaGuardia, or Atlanta, leave plenty of time between arrivals and your opening general session—these are the five worst airports in terms of flight delays, according to The Wall Street Journal. Well, they're in good company. Rounding out the top 10 list: Miami International, Minneapolis-St. Paul International, New York's JFK International, Los Angeles International, and Northwest Arkansas Regional. It looks like most of the biggest U.S. airports also have the most delays. Which isn't surprising seeing as they also have the most traffic, and that's what causes most of the delays, according to the article. Just one more argument why we need to complete the New York/New Jersey airspace redesign project, and to update our entire air traffic control system from one that's radar-based to a GPS-guided system.
